During June the channel's programs highlight special guests, discuss county happenings and inform on life's everyday issues. Catch the following shows. "Spotlight on Cobb" (Sun. and Sat. – 12:30 p.m., Mon. – 1:30 p.m., Tues. – 8 p.m., Wed. – 10 p.m., Thurs. – 7 p.m., Fri. – 9:30 p.m.) "Spotlight on Cobb" serves as the newsmagazine that includes current county topics, tax issues and a public safety report. This month's topics: Smart growth initiatives in Cobb; Water safety tips for summer; Enforcement of underage drinking; locating the correct office on Marietta Square; World War II aircraft visits the county. "Extension Cobb" (Sun. and Sat. – noon, Mon. – 1 p.m., Tues. – 7:30 p.m., Wed. – 9:30 p.m., Thurs. – 6:30 p.m., Fri. – 9 p.m.) "Extension Cobb" has features on horticulture, 4-H and youth, family and consumer science including gardening tips, youth activities and food preservation. This month's topic: Entomologist Jack Arnott discusses mosquito control; Horticulturist Nina Eckberg hosts district 4-H winners.
