As a leading visual arts center, it is the only metropolitan Atlanta fine arts museum focusing on 19th and 20th century American art.


The Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art continues to acquire works for its permanent collections. The museum also features ambitious special exhibitions throughout the year. Tours, lectures, workshops, classes, art camp, Family Day, art festivals and other educational, social, and cultural opportunities are also offered.

Dedication to fulfilling its slogan "building community through art" is evidenced throughout the museum's diversity of activities.

The museum's mission is to provide exposure to the visual arts, with a primary emphasis on collecting, preserving, and presenting American works through curated exhibitions, outreach programs, and social activities. The Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art is proud of the expanding educational opportunities it brings to the community.

The museum is located at 30 Atlanta Street in Marietta, just south of the Marietta Square. Open Tuesday - Saturday 11 - 5, Sunday 1 - 5; closed Monday and holidays. Non-ticketed exhibitions free to museum members and children under 6. $5 for adults, $3 for students with ID, and $3 for seniors over 60.
